Jon Castelli is a GRAMMY-award-winning mix engineer based in Downtown Los Angeles. Jon started his career engineering for small bands in NYC before meeting his mentor Tony Maserati and relocating to California. He has since become one of the top mix engineers in the industry, working with artists such as SZA, Billie Eilish, Khalid, Harry Styles, Kid Laroi, Nicki Minaj, 6LACK, Summer Walker, Kesha, Ariana Grande, LAUV, Leon Bridges, RAYE, Omar Apollo, Camila Cabello, and many more. This past year, Jon mixed Billie Eilish’s highly anticipated album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT, Camila Cabello’s album C,XOXO, seven tracks on Omar Apollo’s album God Said No, and countless more tracks. In 2022, Jon mixed four songs on SZA’s chart-topping album SOS, which won him the GRAMMY award for Best Progressive R&B Album. In 2019, Jon mixed Khalid’s hit single “Talk,” earning him a GRAMMY nomination for “Record of the Year.” Jon works out of his studio, The Gift Shop in the Arts District, where he also records his podcast “Conversations”.
